Registration at the Records of Males

Proper Authority:

The municipality or province in the lists of which the underage is listed or ought to be, according to the decrees concerning the acquisition of citizenship.
In the case of an adult, the municipality or province of their preference.

Supportive papers (Concerning the UNREGISTERED):

• Petition of the interested party.
• Birth Certificate or (if it there is not any) every official paper (e.g. Certificate of the Priest) for the specification of the age.
• Sworn statement for the non listing in any other municipality or province.
• Certificate of Marriage of the parents.
  Evidence of Age, which is issued either by the units of enlistment of the Armed Forces, or by the proper Local Government, or by the proper Greek Consul.

  Procedure:

  The registration at the Records of Males of the newborns is done without a petition by their parents, with the concern of the state. If for any reason, someone is not in the annual lists of municipalities or provinces, then he is registered after the Nomarch's decision, after the submission of the above supportive papers.
